Jotafloor Non Slip Aggregate

Product description

A pre-bagged graded, hard wearing aggregate designed to be applied in combination with Jotafloor products to give a non slip floor finish. Aggregate is cast on to wet material and the excess swept off when dry. Coverage depends on quantity initially used and desired profile.

Application methods

Other If required Jotafloor Non Slip Aggregate can be used with Jotafloor Topcoat, Jotafloor Coating and Jotafloor SL Universal if required. (Advice should be sought from your local Jotun office regarding application techniques as these vary slightly from product to product).

Jotafloor Non Slip Aggregate is cast on to the wet first coat of the Jotafloor material until the whole surface is covered. Aggregate should not be thrown onto the wet coating as this may damage the first coat. Distribute the aggregate from a container eg. distribution sieve, that will allow the aggregate to fall directly onto the wet coating.

Once the first coat has dried, remove the excess aggregate from the surface by vacuum or sweeping brush for reuse if clean.

Apply the final coat of Jotafloor material to the desired thickness.

Storage

The product must be stored in accordance with national regulations. Storage conditions are to keep the containers in a dry, cool, well ventilated space and away from source of heat and ignition.Containers must be kept tightly closed.

Handle with care. Stir well before use.

Jotafloor Non Slip Aggregate Fine, Medium and Coarse supplied in 25 kg bags. Packing may vary from country to country according to local requirements.

Health and safety

Please observe the precautionary notices displayed on the container. Use under well ventilated conditions. Do not breathe or inhale mist. Avoid skin contact. Spillage on the skin should immediately be removed with suitable cleanser, soap and water. Eyes should be well flushed with water and medical attention sought immediately.
